Daniel Haddad CCC
Daniel Haddad is a counsellor who works with individuals, couples, youth, and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and major life changes. He approaches therapy in a collaborative and down-to-earth way, helping people make sense of what they are going through and how different parts of their lives connect. Daniel believes therapy works best when it feels safe, respectful, and unhurried. He focuses on creating a space where clients can talk openly, reflect honestly, and begin to understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Sessions are guided by what matters most to the client and move at a pace that feels manageable. His goal is to help people feel more grounded, supported, and able to cope with what life is asking of them.
Daniel’s background in Kinesiology shapes how he understands mental health as closely connected to the body and nervous system. He pays attention to how stress and emotional overwhelm can show up physically, such as through tension, fatigue, sleep difficulties, or feeling constantly on edge. This perspective often helps clients better understand their reactions and feel less confused or self-critical. Daniel works with clients to develop practical ways to feel more regulated and present in their day-to-day lives. He focuses on small, realistic steps that can make things feel more manageable over time. Therapy with Daniel balances understanding, practical tools, and steady support.

Anna Azurdia
Anna is currently completing her Master of Education in School Counselling at City University and is working toward becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). With 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families, she brings a warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and attachment-based approach to counselling.
Anna believes healing can emerge through safe and meaningful relationships and that each person brings their own strengths, experiences, culture, and capacity for growth. Her areas of interest include supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, grief and loss, pregnancy and infant loss, chronic illness, and significant changes in body image and identity following illness or medical treatment, including breast cancer. She is also interested in somatic-informed and body-based approaches that support nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, resilience, and post-traumatic growth. As a parent and someone who has navigated cancer survivorship, significant loss and trauma, and Type 1 diabetes, Anna brings both professional and personal lived understanding of how unexpected life experiences can affect individuals and families physically, emotionally, and relationally.
Anna has also completed yoga teacher training and values holistic and mind-body approaches to wellness, including “movement as medicine,” grounding, mindfulness, and other body-based practices. A central part of her counselling philosophy is the belief that hardship can become a catalyst for change. She hopes to support clients in making meaning from difficult experiences, reconnecting with their strengths, and creating new chapters of growth, purpose, and possibility.
